For effective and at the same time delicate exfoliation your scrub should contain the right exfoliating particles. Organic Shop’s chocolate body scrub, for example, is formulated with cane sugar. Tiny sugar crystals delicately remove dead cells from the skin surface without scratching it and make the skin super soft and velvety smooth. They melt on contact with the skin and therefore don’t pollute the environment.

The scrub also contains organic shea butter and organic cocoa butter for extra nourishment and hydration. Carrier oils are a rich source of saturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals; they restore the natural elasticity and firmness of the skin, and prevent dryness and flaking. Additionally, cocoa butter is believed to prevent stretch marks.
